Pastelbord has a granular finish that holds many more layers of pastels than traditional pastel papers! With its clay and marble dust coating, this exceptional panel can be used for wet or dry pastel techniques. It's also a fabulous surface for acrylics because it leaves the paint wet longer, allowing for more soft and subtle blending. The rigid 1/8" hardboard backing also makes painting outdoors a breeze! Pastelbord is acid-free and non-yellowing, making it truly a permanent museum quality surface.
