Pastelbord^TM by Ampersand - Green
Versatile Pastelbord stands up to the toughest pastel work. Its fine grain tooth grips pigment so you can apply layer after layer of color. The durable surface lets you blend with confidence and, since water does not affect the surface, Pastelbord is ideal for combining color washes with pastel. Like the other Ampersand products, Pastelbord starts with a 1/8" hardboard panel. A buffered acrylic sealer provides a barrier between the board and the granular coating. The coating itself is pH-neutral and non-yellowing, making Pastelbord a truly permanent, museum-quality painting surface.
