Ampersand 2" Deep Cradled Claybord Smooth — 24" x 36"
These museum-quality 1/8" panels are coated with an ultra-smooth absorbent kaolin clay ground. Acrchival, lightfast, and acid free, these panels are idea for acrylics, egg tempera, pen and ink, mixed media techniques and even airbrush. The surface is additive and subtractive. You can remove pigment to add contrast, texture, tonal value and fine details. Claybord is also ideal for mounting all types of papers and fabrics.

This deep cradled Claybord comes with a 2" support and is made just like the 3/4" cradled version. The braces are made of birch plywood and provide extra support, allowing you to display a finished work without framing. Many artists prefer these deep cradled panels since they provide a contemporary look to their work.
