Finely woven, it's backed with a water-activated neutral pH adhesive which is high in tack and stays flat after drying. Archival Framing and Hinging Gummed Paper Tape is good for hinging artwork or mats and for repair work. The base paper of this tape has an alkaline reserve while the water-activated adhesive is pH neutral.
