A rich black sheet that, unlike most, is acid-free and contains no colorants. The color is the result of a chemical reaction set off during the pulp stage, making it lightfast (most black papers aren’t), and more absorbent than other Arches cover papers. It works beautifully with pastels or Conté Crayons. The 30" x 44" sheet has 4 deckle edges. The 22" x 30" size is cut from the larger sheet—it has 3 deckle edges and one cut edge.
