Beginning Watercolor: Anyone can learn to paint watercolors when they know the magic of the medium! We will be
discussing terminology and introducing you to a variety of materials. Learning how to apply different brush techniques,
the magic of mixing color, taking advantage of white paper, achieve luminous washes, and more. This is a 6 week
comprehensive class for beginning students. $150 for 6 weeks.
Intermediate Watercolor: Advance your watercolor painting skill level. We'll be working paintings from concept to
execution with techniques ranging from abstract to photo realistic. Harness the power of advanced color mixing
incorporating both mineral and luminescent pigments. Learn to incorporate these into your current style or develop a
whole new one. This is a 6 week class for intermediate students basic watercolor knowledge needed. $150 for 6 weeks.
Alternative Watercolor: Are you looking for inspiration? This is the most exciting watercolor class you will find. We'll be
exploring new alternatives for watercolor in this 6 week course. From pigments to supports this is a non-traditional
technique based class. Working from priming to protecting we will be exploring Yupo, sanded paper, watercolor
canvas, watercolor sticks and more. Prepare to be inspired.
All skill levels accepted. $150 for 6 weeks.

WATERCOLOR: Painting Water – Streams/ Falls/Reflections

Understanding the properties of water is essential to painting water! In this 3 day workshop, Susie will show you the many aspects of painting water using transparent colors. Learn how to paint puddles from a recent rain shower, rocks or pebbles in shallow water, and fast moving water cascading over rocks, boulders, and dramatic waterfalls. The class will also review reflections, and how to apply them in your paintings. If you ever wanted to learn how to paint water then you don’t want to miss this exciting workshop!
