Watercolor is my chosen medium because it offers me the ability to express translucent light and sparkling shadows like nothing else I have tried. Watercolor
is like magic for creating the feeling of light!
Bio:
Jane Freeman has worked primarily in watercolor since 1989, and her work has been accepted into a number of national and international shows. She has earned signature status with the Transparent Watercolor Society of America, the Missouri Watercolor Society and the Red River Watercolor Society, and is active in a number of other watercolor societies. Jane's artwork has appeared in two volumes of North Light's best-of-watercolor series, Splash 7 and Splash 9, and How Did You Paint That? 100 Ways to Paint Still Life and Florals (International Artist). She has also been featured in American Artist, Watercolor and International Artist magazines. Jane teaches watercolor workshops throughout the United States and Canada.
