Product Description
The DANIEL SMITH Limited Edition "Firenze" Extra Fine Watercolor Triad When working with a limited palette I look for colors that “feel” like my subject matter. All 3 of these colors have low staining qualities that I like and mix wonderfully to create new colors. The city scene of Florence is warm and bright so I wanted to have a warm dominance of temperature. The wonderful granulation of Verditer Blue added texture to the shadows and glazed beautifully - even for a semi-transparent color!

Permanent Yellow Deep , has an excellent lightfastness rating, is slightly on the orange side of yellow, very transparent, low staining and mixes beautifully with other colors.

 |
Quinacridone Burnt Scarlet , is a slightly sedimentary rich dark red-brown. This color is extremely transparent and low staining. It is very versatile in mixing ability whether you are painting the rooftops of Italy or landscapes and will bring life to your palette.

Verditer Blue , has an excellent lightfastness rating, is semi-transparent, low staining and granulating. The richness of color that can be achieved without looking heavy or opaque is impressive.
