Bainbridge Alphamat® Artcare incorporates exclusive technology to protect artwork against fading and aging. An archival white core matboard of unparalleled consistency and quality, it is noted for ease of cutting and the clean, crisp bevels it produces. Calcium carbonate and unique zeolites within the boards absorb and neutralize pollutants such as acetic acid, sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxides that might emanate from outside or the material being framed. Subtle texture and a classic color provides the perfect setting for your artwork.
Artcare matboards and mounting boards are scientifically engineered to actively protect your art from aging, yellowing and fading for generations to come. They create a protective environment for treasured pieces, shielding them against invisible contaminants that cause artwork to fade, photographs to yellow, and both to deteriorate.
