Don’t be fooled by lesser brands—Safety-Kut is the most durable, flexible, easy to cut soft printmaking block we’ve ever seen! Safety-Kut prints easily on various types of roto presses and in most linoleum block printing presses, or by simply applying pressure to the block, and it can be cut on both sides! Safety-Kut makes a great surface for monoprinting, too. Thickness varies. Because of the soft, absorbent nature of this product, your block may show scuff marks. The surface cleans up easily with soap and water or try Kiss-off.

Since being introduced to DANIEL SMITH materials in 2001, I have only two pigments left that aren’t DANIEL SMITH Watercolors! All my brushes are either Isabey or DANIEL SMITH 44 Series. The Isabey are for sentimental reasons only and don’t hold a point over time like the DANIEL SMITH.
