Dense pure pigment is mixed and hand formed in the studio of John Hersey in the hills of scenic Northumberland, England. Pigments are mixed with very specific binders to produce an incredibly soft pastel with no hard edges. Another exceptional feature of Unison is absolute solubility- all colors mix well with water, producing beautiful watercolor effects with no graininess. Unison Color Solution Sets include warm and cool colors and a light-to-dark range of values. The 7 portrait sets and 5 landscape sets make color selection convenient and help remove the guesswork.
