DANIEL SMITH Acrylic Medium ProjectDid you know that Acrylic Mediums can be used as adhesives in Collaging Projects?
This project was done using DANIEL SMITH Matte Acrylic Medium on Ampersand 12x12 Claybord 3/4”.
1) Cut out any paper shapes you intend to use. For softer edges, wet your paper along the edges of your shape and lightly tear to release.
2) A mixture of DANIEL SMITH Acrylic Medium and DANIEL SMITH Acrylic Paints provide the base for our collage.
3) While wet, place your cut-outs directly onto the surface. Lift carefully to reposition.
4) A variety of color and transparency can be created by layering paint and medium over your paper.
Yuzen Chiyogami Papers provide beautiful depth and texture. We chose two of our newest Cherry Blossom patterns for the silhouettes.
