Meet strict conservation standards. They're made of 100% virgin alpha-cellulose (wood pulp) fibers that have been chemically treated to eliminate acids and lignins that can degrade the matboard and the artwork. Conservation grade surface papers provide optimum bleed and fade resistance. Surface, core and backing papers have a pH of 7.5-9.5, and are buffered with calcium carbonate to an alkaline reserve of 3-5%.
