Mulberry Handmade Natural Paper, White Textured, 22 in x 30 in, 45-60gsm

Mulberry paper is made from the bark of a mulberry tree using a process similar to that invented in China about 2000 years ago. The process of making paper by grinding plant material into a pulp and forming it into thin sheets was invented in 105 AD by Ts'ai Lun, a Chinese official and member of the Chinese Imperial Court, originally using the bark of the mulberry tree as a waste product form silk production.

Natural Mulberry-Strong and flexible, these machine-made sheets contain 50% kozo and 50% recycled paper. Also acid-free, mulberry provides a luxurious foundation for all paper crafts and art projects. Sheets have 4 deckle edges.
