In our tests, this durable board proved excellent for watercolor use. Made of 1/2" apple plywood faced with maple, it stands up well to repeated wetting, taping and stapline. While the wood absorbs some moisture, it dries without warping. The portable 17" X 23" size holds a half sheet of 22" x 30" paper and is big enough to hold the Arches 16" x 20" sheets. Use Bulldog clips or watercolor tape to secure your paper to the board.
