From the 18th Century
Potters Pink (Pinkcolor) is an innovative addition to the acrylic palette, whether for portrait, landscape or abstract work. A deep rose pink straight from the tube, it can be lightened with water or acrylic medium into the sheerest of pinks. It is a great addition to skin tones and makes beautiful counterpoint to brighter, more saturated colors. Originally used in English watercolor painting of the 18th and 19th centuries, Potters Pink is made from chrome aluminum stannate.
