Daniel Smith Extra FineTM Watercolor - Hansa Yellow Deep

Kissed with a touch of orange, this is a pure chroma color with high-tinting, semi-transparent organic pigments. Hansa Yellow Deep is considered the 'perfect yellow', a fact which offers more control when mixing. Painters can admire the purity of this primary pigment and adjust its temperature while avoiding a gray from a hidden complement.

Think of a yellow pepper.

Since being introduced to DANIEL SMITH materials in 2001, I have only two pigments left that aren’t DANIEL SMITH Watercolors! All my brushes are either Isabey or DANIEL SMITH 44 Series. The Isabey are for sentimental reasons only and don’t hold a point over time like the DANIEL SMITH.
