Using DANIEL SMITH Transparent Blender

DANIEL SMITH Transparent Blender has all of the qualities of our Original™ Oils without the color. It mixes easily with oils, holds a similar brushstroke and dries at the same rate for versatile blending.

This colorless, non-pigmented blender has the texture of our DANIEL SMITH Original Oil Colors.

Since our paints are so heavily pigmented, you can use this medium to extend your paints and make them more transparent while maintaining the quality of your brush strokes.

This landscape study was painted using colors from our DANIEL SMITH Original Oils Mixing Set mixed with various amounts of Transparent Blender.

Since the Blender dries at the same rate as the Original Oils, we also added some of the similarly textured Painting Medium for Oils and Alkyds to hasten drying.
