Burgundy Yellow Ochre is a suprisingly intense and warm earth-color. More transparent than most ochre pigments, Burgundy Yellow Ochre creates subtly glowing glazes. We feel lucky to have found a supply of this unique pigment, mined from a deep vein that runs near the Loire River in Western Burgundy that was closed in 1970.
