William Winsor and Henry Newton introduced their original watercolors to London in 1830, and the company has produced some of the world's most popular artists' materials ever since. A couple of years ago, Winsor & Newton revised their watercolor line. They replaced 21 colors and improved others using many of the new synthetic organic pigments, bringing the line up to current lightfastness standards.
