GOLDEN Acrylic Ground for Pastels, 8ozGOLDEN Acrylic Ground for Pastels is ready-to-use 100% acrylic ground to prepare canvas, linen, Multimedia Artboard or wood supports for pastel applications.
The fine grit ground provides an acid-free, level surface tooth that resembles fine pumice and accepts a wide range of pastel, pencil, charcoal and chalk techniques.
It's thinned with water and may be blended with pigmented acrylics (add 5-10% color) when a colored ground is desired. Since it's acrylic-based, it does not mix with any oil media while wet. Once the surface is dry, it receives all types of oil, pastel, and waterbased media.
